Return & Refund Policy


Android Car Stereo UK sells standard and custom Android car stereos and accessories exclusively online.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law.


1. Cooling-Off Period (14 Days)

(Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.

How to Cancel

  1. Notify us in writing (email or online form) within 14 days of delivery.
  2. Return the goods within 14 days of notifying us.

Return Costs

  • You pay return postage unless the goods are faulty or incorrect.
  • Returns must be sent using a tracked, insured service.

Handling & Inspection

You may handle the product to check it — as you would in a shop.
Installation counts as use and may affect your refund.

Deductions for Use

If you install or use the product beyond basic inspection, we may deduct an amount to reflect loss in value — up to 100%of the price if it can no longer be resold as new.

Example:
If the stereo has been fitted and shows screw marks or wiring modifications, it cannot be resold and will not qualify for a refund.


2. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

Evidence Required

Before we can process a return, please provide clear photo or video evidence of the issue.
We may decline a return if adequate evidence is not provided.

If the fault is confirmed, we’ll cover the return postage or arrange collection.


3. Non-Fault Returns (Change of Mind)

All non-fault returns must include original packaging, accessories, and documentation.


4. Custom-Made or Personalised Products

Custom or bespoke units are non-returnable if you change your mind.
Refunds are only available if the product is faulty or not as described.


5. Business Customers

Orders placed under a business or company name are not covered by consumer cancellation rights.

  • Non-fault returns are accepted at our discretion and may incur restocking fees.
  • Deliveries must be inspected within 48 hours of receipt, and any issues reported immediately.


6. How to Return an Item

  1. Contact Us:

    Include your order number and reason for return.
  2. Provide Evidence (if faulty):
    Attach clear photos or video showing the issue.
  3. Obtain Authorisation:
    We will issue a 
    Returns Authorisation (RMA).
    Do not return goods without this reference number.
  4. Return the Goods:
    Pack securely with all original packaging and accessories.
    Use a tracked, insured courier. You are responsible for the goods until we receive them.
  5. Inspection & Refund:
    We will inspect all returned items and process your refund, repair, or replacement as appropriate.

Refunds are usually processed within 5–7 working days after inspection.
